We are so thankful that you are interested in volunteering with More Precious Than Rubies!  We believe that EVERYONE can do SOMETHING to join with us as we reach, serve, and equip women and youth in the sex industry, victims of commercial sexual exploitation & domestic trafficking as they embrace healing to move forward into a future not defined by the past.

Prayer – Prayer Warriors Needed!  Be a member of the MPTR Prayer Team.  You’ll receive prayer updates and requests by email.  You can also get started by praying your way through our 31 Days of Prayer. Eph 6:18 “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.”   

Reach – Are you ready to reach spiritually lost people?  Let’s do as Paul said, “No longer regarding one from a worldly point of view” (2 Cor 5:16).  Outreach teams go to places where they are likely to encounter victims of commercial sexual exploitation and human trafficking to share hope, love and resources.

Serve – Make meals for our sick friends, new moms & others in need, help with gifts and events for birthdays and holidays, help with rides to church or work, organize free family events, assist with support groups, and more!

Equip – Join a mentor team, help teach a bible study or life skills class, or simply be willing to have coffee with someone to show them the love of Jesus.  Teach job skills training, interview skills, help someone study for their GED, or even help a recovery group.

In-Kind Gifts  – This is a huge help in assisting women and youth as they transition from the sex industry, embrace healing, move forward to a future not defined by the past.  You can collect and donate items for gift bags (lip gloss, nail polish, perfume, etc.), care packages (Bibles, teaching cds, books, etc.), or pick something from our wish list!

Many women leaving the industry have to give up leases on their cars to make ends meet.

Property
We would love to turn a donated property in the Brown County area into a residential restoration program.

Pro-bono Partnerships – Help provide a network of resources to women on the journey to healing. Pro-bono services, such as legal assistance, clinical counseling, health care, dental, mechanical, and job placement enable the women we support to have a safety net as they break through challenging circumstances.
